Scott and Sydney Wilkinson (Bergman, Ark.)
I first met this amazing family of hard working farriers after my horses were loaned out and returned with horrid feet. I didn’t think one would be saved.
They were not only able to trim them, but they fixed all the things I was worried about and taught me so very much about my horses feet.
Fast forward less than a month after being shod, one of my geldings had a freak accident after a dog had chased him through a fence. His shoe was stuck in the wire and forced him to be still. Our vet said, had he been able to wiggle that shoe free he would have broken his leg and would have been euthanized.
I frantically called Scott and Sydney and they immediately gave me the tools to safely free him. Once he was free they made an opening in their already busy day to help me save his hoof. They even taped his leg to help his pain.
My vet was astonished and credits his recovery to their efforts. I am forever grateful to them.
