Dani Parker (Portland, Ore.)

Dani is hands down the most kind, talented, amazing human being and farrier I’ve ever met. Her knowledge of the entire horse — to take in account all parts of the body and how hooves relate — is something very important to me. She has been a gift to my horses and they love her. From transitioning my Thoroughbred out of steel shoes, winning over my shy mustang and now helping me bring my newly diagnosed navicular horse back to soundness — I trust her 100%. Thank you Dani for all you’ve done for me and my weirdo steeds to keep us trekking through the mountains.

Dani Parker

I manage the horses at a small nonprofit, and I cannot stress enough how grateful I am that Dani makes the trip all the way out to us every 5 weeks for trimming. Our horses are doing so much better since they got on a consistent 5-week schedule, and it’s so exciting to witness the progress. Dani is also committed to learning all the time, and is therefore able to bring ever more perspective to each appointment. As someone who is also very committed to never stop learning (especially in relation to horses), this is something I really value. Dani, thank you heaps for your patience, attention to detail, and shared love for these horses who give so much of themselves!
