James Heck

James is not only a wonderful farrier, he is fantastic with horses, people and kids. My husband fell and broke his pelvis and hip socket. James would come over to trim our horses feet and would have me take them up to the porch so my husband could sit in his wheel chair and watch. Even though he always had a busy schedule, he would sit and talk with Tim for a while when he was done and let him know how the horses feet were. A friend on mine has a child with autism and ADHD, and when they would come over when James was here he would have the kids stand where they could watch what he was doing and he would explain what and why he was doing it. They loved watching him. In the picture is our yearling colt. He was 5 months old when this picture was taken. James always comes over to do a meet and greet with any new horse we buy and with all of our foals. He is super with them; very gentle, caring and helps them work through any fears they have. James Heck is a wonderful farrier, horse lover and friend./p>
