Luke Farmer (Murillo, On.)

I met Luke when he was 14. He was shoeing a show horse for my mentor at the time, and I was impressed with his quiet mannerisms and respect for the horse and the people around. He started working on my horses a year later; his parents drove him 4 hours one way to my farm. A good lifetime of years since I've moved and he drives 20 minutes to shoe my horses. His quiet patience in working with young inexperienced or traumatized horses is incredible; he’s a person who lives life fully and inspires the next generation to do the same. He’s a horseman as well as a professional farrier: I’m blessed to have him on my horses’ healthcare team.
