Paul King

I’m a farrier from the U.K., and I first started my farriery journey in America studying at the Oklahoma Horseshoeing School (the red barn) ran then by Jack Roth. My tutor, mentor and inspiration was BWFA Master Farrier Paul King. It was an exciting time for me and proved to be a great foundation that started me on a journey in farriery.

I returned to the U.K., worked and studied to achieve my DIP wcf, and have now been in the industry for 20 years during which time I became an approved training farrier in the U.K. with my number one student being my son Greg Nuttall who has gone on to achieve his AWCF associateship (very proud father). I was appointed farrier to her Majesty the Queen for her Golden Jubilee, and have travelled the world for a horse charity, World Horse Welfare, as an international trainer.

I have been working for a horse charity for a number of years now, giving time to teach and educate in some countries where the horse is an important part of every day life. Check out World Horse Welfare YouTube channel. It will give people an insight as to how we are trying to help.

I will be forever grateful to Mr. Paul King, the man that started this amazing life as a farrier.
