International Hoof-Care Summit App

The International Hoof-Care Summit wants to make the conference experience as exceptional for attendees as possible, which is why we have once again developed a mobile app through EventsXD (formerly known as EventBoard) for our 2017 event. This easy-to-use resource can be accessed in the app store on iOS, Android and Windows mobile devices.

Get The App

  1. Download the EventsXD app from your device's app store.
     
  2. Upon opening the app, you will be prompted to log in.

    Users with an existing EventsXD (or EventBoard from last year) account can log in using their credentials. If you forgot your password, simply click "Forgot Password?" and enter your email address, when prompted, to reset your login password. You will receive an email with instructions for creating a new password. Once reset, you may log in.

    If you do not already have a login created for EventsXD (or EventBoard from last year), click the "sign up" button to enter the email address and password you would like to use to sign into the app. Your password should be at least 7 characters long and contain at least 1 special (non-alphanumeric) character. After creating your login, you will be prompted to log in using your newly created account.
     
  3. Once logged in, click the magnifying glass icon in the upper right-hand corner of your screen to search for "International Hoof-Care Summit 2017." (Note: After selecting the IHCS event once, the EventsXD app will add it to the "My" tab of the EventsXD dashboard so you can quickly access the event upon future logins.)

 

Within The App

On the home screen for the International Hoof-Care Summit event, you will see a number of icons that link you to various conference resources:

  • Schedule
    Access a real-time schedule of events from when registration opens until the final event of each night concludes. You can save a session to your personal app agenda by clicking on the session name and then tapping the star icon next to the name of the session. You are also able to provide feedback on a session once it's over.
  • Speakers
    Interested in certain speakers? You can view a list of all 2017 International Hoof-Care Summit speakers and click on their name to view when they are speaking and the topic(s) they will be covering.
  • Time Slots
    Looking at the time and wondering where to go next? View the time slots of the Summit here, and click on a specific time frame to see what is going on so you never miss a beat.
  • Session Types
    Looking for specific types of sessions? All of the events and educational opportunities at the International Hoof-Care Summit are broken out category for you to browse through, including General Sessions, Special Clinics, Roundtables, Classrooms, Networking Breaks, Trade Show Hours and Registration Times.
  • Tracks
    Having difficulty deciding which of the 68 Summit sessions to attend? Start with one of these five educational tracks that can be mixed and matched to meet your specific trimming, shoeing and farrier business management needs.

At the bottom of the app screen, you'll notice three buttons: Home, My Agenda and Pulse.

  • Home
    View the home screen of International Hoof-Care Summit app, featuring icons that link you to the various event resources (example seen above).
  • My Agenda
    Create your own agenda while you are at the Summit so you don't miss out on any opportunities. While viewing sessions within the app, you have the ability to click the green star icon next to a session's name to add it to your own personalized agenda. Click the My Agenda button at the bottom of the Summit app screen to see the agenda you have created for yourself.
  • Pulse
    Access Conference Updates in the "News" tab of the Pulse section. You can also join in #IHCS Twitter conversations by clicking the "Social" tab of the Pulse section. Finally, the "Notifications" tab of the Pulse section lists any push notifications sent out to users who have notifications enabled. To enable push notifications, click on the "Settings" icon of the IHCS home screen, and check "Allow Push Notifications."
