American Farriers Journal Redesign Debut!
We asked. Our readers & advertisers told us. And we listened!
We are excited to announce the September/October issue of American Farriers Journal will feature our brand new redesign!
After over 18 months of gathering feedback from our audience and suppliers, we are thrilled to be sharing the new design of AFJ featuring an updated layout, more prominent graphics and refreshed look. This redesign is sure to enhance our readers’ overall experience with the magazine and improve their viewing of your marketing message while still delivering the content that has made AFJ the go-to magazine for footcare professionals for more than 40 years.
Here is a quick snapshot of the topics we will be sharing in the redesign issue.
Our revamped “Shoeing For a Living,” which provides insight on approaching each horse and the products these featured farriers use.
Hoof-Care Solutions For The Wintering Horse – Farriers share solutions to common hoof-care problems they face with horses that winter in the warmer, but soggier South.
We pull some of the best tips found among farriers of various backgrounds and interests at the annual, Forge of July, in Shelbyville, KY.
Understanding Laminitis – Our series on laminitis begins by introducing the anatomy and physiology of the attachment of distal phalanx to the hoof wall.
PLUS, this issue is one of only a select few highly anticipated issues each year that mail enclosed with a special hoof-care BONUS report, “The Retirement Guide.” This unique, first-ever publication gives farriers the insight for planning for life after their last horse. This is a topic many of our readers have asked for and is sure to be a keepsake source referenced over the years.
The September/October issue will also have extra distribution at the NEAEP Symposium and the AAEP Convention, the world’s largest event and trade show dedicated to equine veterinary practice
Not only will your product be placed in the printed issue, all advertised products will be listed in an online directory at NO COST. This new online directory allows for more exposure during and after the issue with a full color picture and description of the product added to the AFJ website.
American Farriers Journal is the only North American paid subscription dedicated 100% to fulfilling the ever-changing educational needs of today’s equine hoof-care professional. Farriers, trimmers, equine veterinarians and equine specialists keenly interested and skilled in footcare read each issue of American Farriers Journal.
The magazine’s in-depth coverage of topics of special interest to farriers and equine vets assures American Farriers journal and its related educational services of its position as the primary resource for hoof-care information. Every issue reaches a larger audience of farriers, equine veterinarians, equine specialists and other horse professionals than any other hoof-care publication.
