Texas farrier Chester Stewart passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015, in Tyler, Texas. He was 82.
Stewart wore many hats in his lifetime. He was a farrier, horse trainer and cattleman. He was a stable owner, as well as the owner and operator of Stewart Saddle and Tack Shop in Tyler. Stewart also worked for LaGloria Oil and Gas Refinery.
Visitation is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 28 at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Highway in Tyler. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 29 at the funeral home.
