65 Hours of Learning Involving More Than 40 Outstanding Farriers, Equine Vets and Hoof Researchers In One Great Program

When the American Farriers Journal staff starts work on the program for the International Hoof-Care Summit, nothing is more important than the ideas for topics shared by attendees and readers. We rely extensively on what you tell us you want to deliver a Summit hoof-care program planned for footcare professionals.

To meet your needs, we’re lining up a remarkable roster of more than 40 outstanding speakers for next winter’s fourth annual Summit that is being held from Jan. 30 to Feb. 2, 2007, in Cincinnati, Ohio. The program will include outstanding farriers, equine vets and hoof researchers from the U.S., Great Britain and The Netherlands sharing the latest information to help you do even better footcare work.

Meeting Hoof-Care’s New Challenges

As has been the case in each of the past 3 years, there will be many new speakers, new topics, exclusive non-conflicting trade show time, exciting learning innovations, super networking opportunities and much more at next winter’s Summit. 

While the final in-depth program will be enclosed with the November issue, here are a few of the speakers who will play a key role in next winter’s highly powerful Summit.

  • “Shoeing Intervals And Other Critical Hoof-Care Concerns.” Meike van Heel, from the Equine Performance Laboratory at Utretch University in the Netherlands will present the latest research results regarding proper shoeing intervals.
