Each April, American Farriers Journal publishes the Shoeing Showcase, our annual Farrier Product & How-To Issue.

As the title and description clearly imply, this issue is devoted to products. It contains by far the biggest product section of the year. This year it begins on Page 48, and includes more than 260 products — both brand new and time-tested — that you can use in your hoof-care work or recommend to your clients.

You’ll find a Reader Service Number for each product in the section (as you will with ads). As with every issue of AFJ, you can use these numbers to obtain additional information about the products that interest you. Use the Reader Service Cards located between Pages 88 and 89, or visit our website at www.americanfierriers.com/ff/products. This puts you in charge of letting manufacturers and retailers know which products have caught your eye.

Time To Review

In addition to reviewing the pages of products, this is also a good time to review your overall use of products and buying habits, particularly as you stock up for the busy riding season.
