American Farriers Journal is seeking up-and-coming farrier nominations for our Rising Shoeing Star program by May 31, 2025.

The Rising Shoeing Star program recognizes outstanding shoers having successful farrier careers 3 years after graduating from one of North America’s 60-plus public and private horseshoeing schools.

The 2025 program will honor students who graduated from horseshoeing school in 2022 and have since managed a successful career in the equine footcare business.

All three winners will receive a plaque, a 1-year subscription to American Farriers Journal, free registration to the International Hoof-Care Summit and the American Farriers Journal “Kitchen Sink” package of educational materials. The three winners’ schools will also receive a plaque and the “Kitchen Sink” package.
