On pages 92 and 93 of the AFJ July/August 1995 are some pads in the center of the pages are a pair of green pads. Can any one tell me the name of these pads and situations they can be used in.
Thanks'

Hi Rudy,
I did some research on the pads you were in question about. Those green pads in the middle of pages 92 and 93 of the July/August '95 issue of the American Farriers Journal are called "impact pads," and they are made by Castle Plastics. Impact pads come in two sizes (8 and 8L) and are similar to the cushion heel pads (found in the lower right corner of the page) in that they provide cushion in the heel region between the branches of the shoe. The impact pads provide additional solar protection by having a raised ground surface that continues from the heel region along the inside edge of the shoe.
The pads are available from Castle Plastics at 1-800-9CASTLE or a Castle Plastics distributor in your area. Hope this helps.
