Hi there,

I am looking for some honest opinions on my horse. He has been lame/sore for the past few months and it is not going away so I am fixing to get some extensive testing done. I wanted some folks to share with me what they see here in these pics. My horse is 16h, 13 yrs, approx 1300+ lbs and is used for roping. I have things I question as far as his feet, but I am not a farrier so I found this site and thought I would put it out there for you all to comment on. I am wondering about his angles; he seems higher on the outside then inside of hoof; opposite on rear(at least the right rear); his right front seems more under run then his left and is about 1/2 to 1 in shorter in height; is this a conformation thing?

I appreciate your help. Thank you

I apologize, the pics did not crop right to show the whole picture. I can reinsert them if needed. Thanks you

What did you find out from the tests you had run? You really can't tell anything from the pictures but I imagine this horse's heels are quite contracted and the frog is atrophied. It would be interesting to know.
