Took a call yesterday from a California farrier who's looking for a way to modify a Valley Forge vise. The modification involved doing something to it so that the jaws would come together flush. He says he saw a story about how to do this several years back, but we haven't been able to find anything like that. Does anyone have a suggestion for him?

I might be wrong with that. Let us know and we'll pass the information along to him.

Thanks for your help!

Step on the lever, mark it, cut it, extend it more, weld it on. Pretty simple.
