I was just wondering if anyone has tried the new Liberty horseshoe nails from Kerchardt and what you think about them?

Diane,
I have shod a few horses with the new Liberty CH5 and was pleased with them. They are well designed, drive smooth and fit nicely into a Kerckhaert Standard as well as a Steel Triumph. I haven't reshod any of the horses on which I used the Liberty Nails yet so I can't report on how well they hold up but so far there have been no problems.

I've been using the new Save Edge nails. Good quality, much lower price.

I've driven a sample box of Liberty E4 Slims into some plain stamp handmades. They drove well, clinched well, and stayed put. Appear to be a good product.
