I got an e mail the other day, about a new tool, called the hoof wizard. Anybody know anything about it?

Oh shoot my bad I thought you were talking about me , "The hoof wizard" It loohks like a balancing guide for the horse when standing it seems like a good however there are so many interpentaions of balance and how to find it I feel that this product may not do so hot. I am not buying one I feel that my views on balance are correct for style of shoeing. good luck with this guage but remember that we work on living horses and they are all different

I googled this after I read your post, I went to their website and it seemed like a straight forward piece of equipment that might be useful to beginning farriers (although nothing is a replacement for developing your eye).....It SEEMED straight forward, until I went to the page to check the price.....120 bucks for two little pieces of plastic and some instructional items !!!!.....I see this as just another gimmick that will soon fall by the way side....I wouldn't waste my money on it

Well to be honest about it, I never even went to the web sight to check it out. When I got the e mail, I thought "oh what now? Another miracle tool?" I just wondered if anybody had used one, and if they had, what they thought of it.
