I basically use  a calming oil that i made  and sell with great success. I have done many horses others will not do and donkeys this works well to the horses sences.. This like a insurance program in my pocket.  the only other means of  gentle handling i do if needed is the short rope act  works very well  but with my calming Aroma oil  its best if interested email me . what i've found being around arabians and the spooking part that a horse is more prone to smells, then sight and sound steve.hoofworks@gmail.com see http:opinionofthehoofblogspot.com
