Announcement From The Guild Of Professional Farriers, Inc.

Mark Twain once wrote, "the reports of my death are greatly exaggerated.”  As with him, any reports of the death of The Guild of Professional Farriers are greatly exaggerated as well.
 
Quite contrary to the current rumor, The Guild’s Board of Directors has just finished preparing a rather extensive package outlining all of the work being done on behalf of the members and the Board's plans for the future. This package is going in the mail as we speak. The details of the Board's activities are being distributed to members of the Guild’s Registry first.
 
Once the Guild’s Registry has had an opportunity to receive and review the documents in this member information package the details of the Guild’s future plans will be distributed to the press and posted on the Guild's Web site.
 
Until then the members of the board have decided to refrain from further comment upon this matter.  This post is the single comment that we intend to make and we are only making this public comment to deal with the currently circulating rumor that the Guild is defunct.
