Which educational Footcare Special Reports are included with the VIP Upgrade and how do I access them?See more

When you upgrade to VIP access, you'll receive 3 of the top-selling Footcare Special Reports from the editors of American Farriers Journal. These complementary reports include...

  1. "Hoof Care for the Performance Horse" — This 62-page report is jam packed with valuable information you need to know when it comes to hoof care for performance horses. Broken down into nine “chapters," you’ll learn essential tips, tricks and techniques to use when dealing with Sport Horses, Western Performance Horses, Rodeo Horses, Long-Footed Gaited Horses, Pas Finos, Peruvian Paso Finos, Endurance Horses and even a bit of history. Filled with colorful, in-action photos, this must-have report outlines how to trim and shoe a horse depending on the event, the best equipment to use, special tools and skills necessary to be successful, challenges you may encounter and so much more! This is a great report to have on hand when you’re looking for that extra something that will take your horse to the next competitive level.
  2. "Red Flags For Farriers" — As a farrier, you are one of the most trusted sources of information for horse owners. And for those clients wise enough to keep their horses on a regular schedule, you are seeing your clients with greater frequency than most other equine professionals. Because of this frequency and your expertise, you are the first line of defense for issues associated with the foot. This incredibly detailed 62-page report features detailed information on a variety of areas that hoof-care professionals have reported as impediments to the success of their business, challenges in their everyday hoof-care work and threats to the health of their horses’ feet. From posture problems to recognizing when to fire a client, this report will provide you with tips and advice to get your hands around minor issues early, before they escalate into major ones.
  3. “Hall Of Fame Farrier Tips” – This 52-page report features a collection of practical advice from several members of the International Horseshoeing Hall Of Fame.  Each was interviewed on various subjects they thought every farrier should know. These tips are all diverse – some hyper-focused on technique, others very generalized. Some are specific to the mechanics required to be under a horse, while others offer practical business advice.
