Gene Josephine (Borgman/Alger) Turkington, a farrier spouse and co-owner of an Oregon farrier supply store, died Thursday, July 16, 2015, at Samaritan Evergreen Hospice in Albany, Ore. She was 84.
She married John Turkington on July 10, 1987, and together they owned and operated Farrier Supplies LLC and Bent River Forge LLC in Monroe, Ore.
A private service is planned. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Turkington’s memory may be made to Samaritan Evergreen Hospice in Albany, Ore., or Parkinson’s Resources of Oregon.
